Aguinaldo Shrine comes to Life! The 18th-century national monument is seen in a new light through video mapping technology.
Video mapping uses digitally produced images based on the architectural line of a structure to create an impression and bring a structure to life.
It’s my first time watching a video mapping show, and I’m amazed by the work and quality they put into it. It’ll definitely make any Filipino proud! Check out my experience at the Aguinaldo shrine…
The video mapping presentation is open to the public from June 11-15, 2015. There will be a 7:30pm, 8:30pm and 9:30pm show.
We took the Cavitex going to the Aguinaldo Shrine. Parking is available in front of the monument.
Fun Fact: More than a hundred years ago, the Aguinaldo Shrine was one of the witness to one of the most crucial junctures in Philippine history – the declaration of a free Filipino nation.
The presentation started with a state-of-the-art and avant-garde show of our rich culture and history.
The show had a beautiful fluid audio-visual narrative.
It was followed by a light show using the architectural lines and the foundations of the building. It’s amazing how detailed everything was.
We also loved how they incorporated who we are as Filipinos.
They even incorporated the elements of the Filipino flag, into the structural design.
Checkout this out! Every corner of the house is beautifully lit.
Who can forget President Aguinaldo himself..
And Andres Bonifacio! Mabuhay!
The show ended with an upbeat song and light-show.
Overall, we loved it! Way to go Department of Tourism (DOT) and the Local Government of Kawit Cavite, for bringing new light and excitement on Independence Day to our historical landmark. We hope to see more of your amazing video-mapping shows in the future! Mabuhay!
