Seda Abreeza

Located just 20 minutes drive away from the Davao International airport.

We loved the ideal location because of its accessibility to shopping malls, restaurants, and tourist attractions like my favorite the Magsaysay Fruit Market for Durian!

Seda Abreeza

The lobby features modern and timeless architectural features simple with elegant muted colors and earth tones.

Seda Abreeza

Seda Abreeza partners with the Philippine Eagle Foundation in bringing one of the preserved national bird as a centerpiece of the hotel to help promote the conservation mission.

The function and meeting rooms remain a popular venue as a social and business hub district.

Its large meeting rooms at the lobby level that can seat up to 120 persons and its second-floor venue that can accommodate up to 120 persons aree also popular venues for social gathering and meetings.

Seda Abreeza

The hotel features 186 guestrooms, a gym, function rooms, and a lap pool.

Seda Abreeza

The lap pool was lovely but quite small compared to other hotels.

Seda Abreeza

We stayed in the standard deluxe (28 sqm) room. We requested a twin bed deluxe room so we can sleep in separate beds.

Seda Abreeza

All rooms are equipped with 40-inch LED HDTV, a media panel with HDMI, USB and audio-visual connectivity, IDD phone, coffee & tea making facility, and good Wi-Fi internet connection that’s stable enough for work purposes.

Seda Abreeza

Electronic in-room safe and mini-bar.

The restrooms are standard throughout SEDA with a toilet, shower and a washbasin in one. It also comes with complete toiletries and a hairdryer.

Misto Restaurant is Seda’s main restaurant, which offers Davaoeño and Filipino cuisines. You can help yourself to hefty servings of tuna kinilaw, beef pochero, and Malagos chocolate desserts!

We loved sitting in the hotel’s all-day dining outlet, adorned with contemporary art pieces that utilize T’nalak cloth handwoven by the T’boli ethnic tribe of Mindanao.

One of the best meals I had on the trip was in Seda Abreeza Hotel. I loved how they pulled off Davao’s best flavors and incorporated it into their menu for this branch.

Seda Abreeza

Davao Pomelo & Prawn Salad (Seda Kadayawan Buffet)
Pomelo is a popular pasalubong item from Davao, you’ll find boxes of them on the luggage carousel on your flight back at the airport.

Pomelo makes a wonderful salad and especially goes well with Thai flavoring. I love how the Pomelo pulls apart easily and the pulp has a crunchy and popping texture.

Seda Abreeza

Seda Abreeza Tuna Kinilaw (P390 ala carte)
Tuna, native vinegar, coconut milk, herbs & spices topped with tuna crackling

Tuna kinilaw is a popular dish in Davao where tuna is fresh and readily available.

I love the freshness of the fish and acidity of the spicy vinegar marinade.

I love the generous serving of tuna chunks and crispy bits of tuna crackling for texture. A must-try!

Seda Abreeza

Beef Shank Pochero with Saging na Saba (Seda Kadayawan Buffet)

Beef pochero is a Filipino stew that’s made rich by cooking beef shanks and marrow bones for hours. The soup is complemented by the sweetness of the saba banana that is very comforting.

The difference from Davao’s version of pochero is that they take out the tomato in the process.

Seda Abreeza

Crispy Prawns in Mangosteen Chili Sauce (Seda Kadayawan Buffet)
I love the spicy twist to their bestseller with their mangosteen chili sauce.

Seda Abreeza

Pan Seared Red Snapper Fillet with Malagos Goat Cheese Sauce (P880 nett ala carte)

Perfectly cooked red snapper fillet topped with rich creamy goodness from Davao’s renowned Malagos blue goat cheese sauce! Another must-try!

Seda Abreeza

Malagos Dark Chocolate Cheesecake (P300 ala carte)
The dessert may be rich but the sweetness level is perfect!

Other dishes like the Pomelo and Prawn Salad, Beef Pochero with Saging na Saba and Banoffee Tart will be part of the new menu cycle in the near future.

Seda Abreeza

Misto also serves the breakfast buffet from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m.

The breakfast buffet is one of the things I looked forward to during our stay at Seda. As you can see, the breakfast buffet at Misto has a generous selection of Filipino and international dishes.

Seda Abreeza

Don’t forget to order fresh mango slices and watermelon juice from the waiter, that can’t be found on the buffet floor.

Seda Abreeza

A highlight of the breakfast buffet is the Malagos chevre- also from the same family that makes the chocolates.

Similar to the French Chèvre, Malagos’ version of the cheese includes different flavors including pesto, pineapples and even mangoes! My favorite is the Pineapple sublime, a mixture of blended milk from goat and cow with bits of tropical pineapples. I love the tangy, sweet, and creamy goodness!

Seda Abreeza

Champorado… but I prefer the lugaw section with tons of toppings to choose from was also good. I like adding fish sauce, salt, pepper, chives, chicken strips, calamansi, hard-boiled egg, and tons of garlic to my mix!

Seda Abreeza

Egg station.

Seda Abreeza

An assortment of bread. I liked the pandesal, croissant, and banana cupcakes.

Seda Abreeza

For something sweet to end the meal try the kakanin and other Pinoy delicacies you can sample on.

Seda Abreeza

Right across the hotel is the Abreeza Mall, where you can buy last minute pasalubong items.

Seda Abreeza

Our go-to place is the Apo ni Lola stall where you can buy yummy durian yema.

Seda Abreeza

Overall, we loved our stay at Seda Abreeza because of:
– Filipino interior designs and Modern hotel facilities
– Friendly Filipino Staff
– Great selection on the breakfast buffet.
– Delicious Davao inspired cuisine in the Misto restaurant
– 20 minutes away from the airport
– It’s right across from an upscale mall
– Conveniently in the metro where you can do a city tour or discover new restaurant.

Congratulations Seda Abreeza Davao on your 5th year anniversary!
