BRUNCH FOOD

KOREAN CHICKEN CHOP (₱395).
Chicken thighs fillet drenched in our special seasoned breading, fried until crispy. Glazed with home-made Korean-style sweet soy. Served on top of spam and kimchi egg fried rice, with mixed homemade pickles on the side.

Most of our friends from the south recommended the Korean Chicken Chop, which features a fillet of chicken thigh with crispy glazed chicken skin coated in Korean soy, providing just the right amount of sweetness. It is served with kimchi-flavored fried rice, accompanied by spam and pickles. Sarap nito.

BEEF TAPA BOWL (₱450).
A Filipino brunch favorite made with USDA beef tenderloin marinated in garlic, vinegar, soy sauce, and pepper. Served with lemon parsley rice and your choice of egg.

The beef tapa is tender and well-marinated in a peppery adobo-style sauce. It is served with an egg, but it doesn’t pair well with bread, so be sure to order garlic fried rice. Although a bit pricey for a tapsilog version, the tenderloin beef is comfortingly delicious.

NIPPON (₱230).
Our Okinawan-inspired cappuccino blend mixed with unrefined brown sugar cane.

We appreciate their thoughtfully curated iced coffee selection, like this Okinawan-inspired cappuccino with the perfect sweetness from brown sugar cane, presented beautifully. Even the simple latte is quite good, and our group was satisfied with all their coffee orders.

KOREAN CHICKEN BURGER (₱440)
Korean-style fried chicken fillet, molten cheese, kimchi slaw, roasted pepper aioli, lettuce and tomatoes. Served with fries on the side.

You can order the Korean Fried Chicken in burger version with kimchi slaw.

MANILA CARBONARA (₱445)
Linguine with sausage crumbles, mushrooms, cream sauce, furikake poached egg, and cured egg yolks.

Yugi enjoyed every strand of the linguine with the cream sauce, and the poached egg added extra creaminess, complemented by furikake bits to balance the richness. It was very comforting and satisfying.

LOCO MOCO (₱490)
A classic Hawaiian dish: a juicy beef patty topped with caramelized onions, served with hayashi mushroom gravy, sautéed mushrooms and French beans.

We wanted to try something different and delve into the brunch culture of Hawaii. It tasted like burger steak with gravy over rice, accompanied by mushrooms and beans on the side. The name is nakakaloko and this was a bit lost in translation but masarap naman.

STARTERS

EBI KATSU BALLS (₱275 – 4 pcs.)
Minced shrimp and mixed asian aromatics formed into flavorful and crunchy mini cakes. Served with garlic soy glaze and roasted pepper aioli.

A good appetizer to start with: a crisp shell stuffed with shrimp, best when dipped in aioli.

NORI RICE CRISPS (₱320)
Bite-sized nori rice crisps served with our edamame hummus, crumbled sausage and roasted pepper sauce.

The rice crisps were good, but the hummus with sausage and pepper sauce was a bit strange. We finished the rice crisps but not the hummus.

ASIAN COBB SALAD (₱340)
Mixed greens, grilled chicken, tocino, toasted spam, bits, edamame beans, cucumber, pickled onions, sweet potatoes, nori crisps and tomatoes.

CAESAR SALAD (₱360)
Crisp lettuce, cherry tomatoes, bacon, croutons, and parmesan cheese with Asian caesar dressing.

A good salad is always appreciated with fresh greens and a light dressing.

Strawberry Espresso Tonic (₱230).
A cool and fizzy drink made with double espresso and sweet strawberries.

I love this coffee with double espresso, complemented by a nice contrast of strawberry and tonic fizzy drink.

FINAL THOUGHTS

Overall, this was a great place for our Happy New Year meetup over good brunch food and coffee even for dinner. Sometimes you just want to eat comforting food, not too complicated, and enjoy a coffee concoction during engaging conversations.

The Korean Chicken Chop, the Beef Tapa, and the Manila Carbonara were quite good. Some enjoyed the Salmon with Miso Emulsion and the burgers. Everyone loved the coffee, providing a good alternative to EACH.

I appreciate how the restaurant is located in a quiet corner in Molito Mall, allowing you to sit on the ground floor with a high ceiling and enjoy a peaceful atmosphere. This is a fantastic brunch spot to meet with friends and enjoy it with family.
