Abe means good filipino food!

This is part of the LJC group of companies and you should not be surprised to see some of the menu items from Cafe Adriatico, Bistro Remedios, etc. etc. What I like about this is that it serves true Filipino food and I always believe that Campampangan dishes are the authentic Filipino food that have little influence from our colonizers.
…I would rate this a 4.5 overall because of the overall ambiance, quality of food, value for money and friendly service.

The Good Body by Eve Ensler (creator of Vagina Monologues)

NEW VOICE COMPANY PREMIERES EVE ENSLER’S “THE GOOD BODY” The New Voice Company, fresh from its success in Singapore with Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Aspects of Love, premieres a brand new, provocative, hilarious play at the Music Museum on November 10 and 11 – Eve Ensler’s THE GOOD BODY. … THE GOOD BODY talks about our tortured relationships with our weight, body image and self-acceptance – with voices of women from L.A. to Kabul : A young Latina candidly critiques her humiliating “spread”, a stubborn layer of fat that she calls “a second pair of thighs”. … Along the way, Eve also introduces us to women who have found a hard-won peace with their bodies: an African mother who celebrates each individual body as a sign of nature’s diversity, and Indian woman who delights in her curves.

Chef Tony’s Popcorn-Fest

By

The nuts add texture and serve as the neutralizer for the sweetness of the popcorn to prevent “suya” (i just can’t think of the english term for this, it is at the tip of my tongue!). … Penny just mentioned that the peppermint flavor and macadamia choco swirl popcorns will be its Christmas limited edition but where was it that we are now trying out his variety of popcorn? … Lastly, I suggested for Chef Tony to come out with a special assorted tub where you can have 3-4 flavors in one big tub.

Sa In Yo

By

I have a good feeling going to In-yo, since it’s a filipino house converted into a restaurant and a promising Nino Laus as head chef. … “In the midst of a busy and fast-paced society, we wanted to bring a piece of the province’s relaxed and peaceful atmosphere thru the creation of a restaurant with a homely feel paired with a contemporary eclectic Asian design (most of the furnitures that you’ll see in the resto are either re-used from the old house or given as gifts from friends and family who travels around asia). … ” “Btw, you will also see on the inside walls of the restaurant original artworks from well known artists in different media such as paintings, photography and sculptures (for the art lovers out there, you may purchase anything you find fit for your home).
