I’m fascinated by people who live for 100+ years and get to tell the story of their life. I’ve always wondered, “what is the secret to living a long awesome life?” This is the story of Jessie Lichauco, lovingly called Nana by her family, immortalized in a documentary film by her granddaughter, Sunshine de Leon. … Continue reading A Centenarian’s Story of Curiosity, Love & Adventure! I felt so proud after watching Waves, a high-quality Philippine movie about an intimate island love story, starring alluring Polish model Ilona Struzik, and Filipino Actor Baron Geisler. We were blown away by the first public premiere of Dayo the Movie last Friday. I almost shed a tear when the movie finished because Filipinos have finally created the first All-Digital Animated Movie that we all can be proud of.
Dayo The Movie is the First Ever All Digital Full Length Animation of the Philippines! Finally after years of working for animation studios such as Disney, Cartoon Network and Warner Studios, Filipinos finally created our very own All Digital Full Length animation — Dayo (The Movie!).

It is definitely, a Christopher Nolan masterpiece.
We were emotionally involved with the fears and hopes of the citizen of Gotham.
Congratulations to Producer Tony Tuviera (of Eat Bulaga fame) and Director Reggie Entienza for Urduja! It is “the first-ever Philippine full-length digital and traditional animation film” that showcase Filipino talent and animation capabilities (see more info: Life is an Animation) This is history in the making. Who said that the Filipino film industry is dead?

Overall, I liked it but I don’t think it was worth watching it in IMAX because there are no 3d effects.
