[Unique Stores.3] The Little Chinese Store

This is an oriental store that serves canteen style chinese food with lumpia as the “killer” food that draws dine in and take out guests. This is my first time (can you imagine that) to visit this store which my wife’s family raves about because of its assortment of oriental goodies and seasoning.
…Aside from the Chinese Lumpia, all the other food are not worth mentioning but if you are on a tight budget then its OK.

We had a debate on vegetarian vs. atkins/ south beach diet and the best diet was a good compromise using University of Michigan’s Healing Pyramid . My brother was a die hard atkins/ south beach diet practitioner for more than a year and I’m on my first month of vegetarian experiment. … Fuhrman’s Eat to Live follows the same principle and will migrate to this diet in 2006 🙂 So far with eating 95% vegetarian, I feel good and light 🙂 I bowel more regularly these days, although I’m able to just maintain my weight.

Visiting this store is an experience in itself, and I’m sure there are a lot of people visiting here at night given the Government crowd next store (very strategic). … It has a nice dressing area conforming to the entire theme of the store and I had fun taking shots with my wife as the model. [Unique Stores.1] What’s in Store for All Seasons?

You could say that this is one way for me to enjoy shopping around and for my wife to be happy as well 🙂 Although, I particularly don’t like shops inside the mall, but who knows there might be that one store found in the recesses in the mall that I might include in this series. First stop, I’ve been fascinated with the concept of the store for all seasons (SFAS) and we’ve checked it out if it really delivers on its young vibe and artsy ambiance.
…OK, you could argue that we are on the practical side and mature taste, not part of the young and trendy generation 🙂 I came here for the selection of the miss mcdonald’s shots but I guess the miss mcdonald’s site gives alot more cool photos.

A Lesson in Timing @ Galileo Enotica

No doubt the food is great but this is a lesson of timing when to eat in places like this and I’ll share with you my experience and how best you can enjoy this place when you visit.
…I would suggest to try out the alacarte if available specially because @ P350, the only best thing are the pasta selections, selection of cheese and the coffee.
…If not for Vanessa, the very nice manager of the place, I would have lost my cool and complain a lot in my blog post.

I remember voting for this and there was a filipino blogosphere/ email campaign on this last August including Carlos of the celdran tours fame. … Watch out for the BBC feature on a special program on Dec. 3/4 and by Newsweek Magazine in its Dec. 3 issue.

I got a lot of complaints not only from my wife but from regular readers of that blog. Finally, I was able to update it and I can’t believe that for 10 straight months I was able to keep up with the volume of pictures at that photo blog. There are a few days in those months that I don’t have any pictures but safely about 90% are covered.

Christmas is in the air!

Aside from the chrismas parols that you started to see on the streets and the christmas carols you hear on the radio, have you noticed that it’s getting cooler already? We live in a 10th floor condo and the breeze are cooler now and you could feel that Christmas is in the air ! Got to buy my christmas gifts and avoid that christmas rush 🙂

Miguel Paul Riano had a post on “A look into Procter & Gamble” and I would reserve my comments since some of the information in his post is already out dated. Just for instance, P&G now has 21 billion dollar brands with the addition of Gillette billion dollar brands with over $50+ Billion in Sales in 160 countries. It is one of the Top 10 Global Companies by Market Capitalization among which Gillette is #1, Exxon #2, Microsoft #3, with P&G alternates in #7-9 with J&J and Walmart on any given day.
