I got a lot of complaints not only from my wife but from regular readers of that blog. Finally, I was able to update it and I can’t believe that for 10 straight months I was able to keep up with the volume of pictures at that photo blog. There are a few days in those months that I don’t have any pictures but safely about 90% are covered.

Christmas is in the air!

By

Aside from the chrismas parols that you started to see on the streets and the christmas carols you hear on the radio, have you noticed that it’s getting cooler already? We live in a 10th floor condo and the breeze are cooler now and you could feel that Christmas is in the air ! Got to buy my christmas gifts and avoid that christmas rush 🙂

Musik Fun @ Kindermusik :)

By

(Read More: About Kindermusik ) In the Philippines, Teacher Jeannie is a US Licensed Kindermusik educator and was motivated to learn to use music effectively to communicate with her special child. … [ I still think it is expensive for a 45 minutes class but anything about children education these days are expensive ] We attended our first session last Saturday and it was indeed fun 🙂 The 45 minutes session just passed by. What I like about it: It attracts small group of about 10 babies with the same profile and the it was fun to see Aidan interact with babies about the same age.

My Winning Badminton Strategies

By

(Sophomores is an age bracket for early 30s, and B1 is the 2nd to the highest level in the bracket with level A as the highest) For badminton addicts out there, I’m sharing my winning badminton strategies in this post.
…Tension and nervousness could affect your game, use tension releasing techniques like shouting when hit a great shot, talk to your partner constantly by affirming great shots or giving feedback on how to improve. … For the first few points, play for sure shots like sure short serves, smashes on the middle rather than on the sides, and if you’re drop is not working, use clear shots instead.

Awesome Planet Message

By

Dear awesome planet readers, I’ve been thinking about how to improve my blog lately and how to differentiate it from my other group blogging activities. … I know that it would be bandwidth intensive because of the big photos but based on my blog statistics, most of my readers would have a DSL or reading the blog in their office. … I know that it is not SEO (Search Engine Optimization) friendly, but I’ll try to accompany the photos with text descriptions.

Can you share a secret place or experience in the Philippines?

By

Most of the stuff that I post here in my blog come from raves of people about the great experiences they have or secret places or personal scoop on the Philippines. I’ve never run out of ideas, places and restos to visit and the Philippines never fails to surprise me in a lot of ways. I’ve never hesitated to share this secret out in my blog and it would be our secret 🙂 I’m never fond of places that are hyped up or the mainstream restaurants because they are already there and a lot of people knows about it.

Sick, Crashed and Lost (Aargh!)

By

It was soo painful that I had to take a leave on Friday and missed a lot of my office commitments and what should have been Aidan’s first Halloween Trick or Treat in the office. … I was spending the entire Sunday trying to revive her to the best of my abilities but I was able to get the critical files I needed (password file, quicken finances file, and the google earth Philippine virtual tour file I was doing when it crashed) Most of the photos, I was able to backup in Angelika, my ipod. … We missed another opportunity for Aidan to go on a trick or treat in Bel air 🙁 I’m afraid that this is not the end but at least so far no life threatening situation happened and I still have my family and this blog 🙂

Pinoy 2.0 Meme-Map

By

These meme maps were started by Tim O’reilley What is Web 2.0 meme-map and Peter Forret started to develop a meme-map generator . … This is a “draft” blue-print of the game plan to develop the next generation of Filipinos who would become the next superpower in the knowledge driven global economy. … Maybe you can help me out with this and let me know if you have ideas in mind on how we can develop the Pinoy 2.0.

“Pinoy 2.0”: The next generation of Global Filipinos

By

I was inspired by the book 12 Little Things every Filipino can do to Help their Country (Alexander Lacson) and I want to push the concept on what Filipinos can do in a flattened Web 2.0 world (with a little effort of course). I truly believe that if we leverage on our Filipino strengths, learn breakthrough ideas in a flattened world, and develop our capabilities in Web 2.0 emerging trends, then we will become a super power in the knowledge-driven global arena.
…The next generation of software can best be experienced if you are using the following: Flickr / Buzznet for your photo sharing, BitTorrent for multimedia content, Wikipedia for your research, Google Maps for best AJAX experience, Typepad / Blogger / Wordpress for your business or personal sites, del.icio.us for your bookmarks, technorati / pub sub to be in touch with the world’s conversations and 43Things / 43People / 43Places for your desires and goals in life.
